Mr. Emas joined the Firm in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Emas served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County under Katherine Fernandez-Rundle. During that time, he tried approximately 30 jury trials and 60 bench trials in assignments with the Homicide Unit, Traffic Fatality Unit and the Economic Crimes Division. He also regularly represented the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida in hearings before the Florida Commission on Offender Review. Since leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Emas worked for an insurance defense firm handling premises liability, negligent security, construction litigation, automobile negligence, property damage, and bad faith disputes. Mr. Emas works in the Firm’s Coral Gables Office handling medical negligence and general liability matters.
